MEET HOA VO

With over a decade of experience, Hoa Vo is an interdisciplinary designer whose work spans interior design, interior architecture. His holistic design philosophy combines creativity, technical expertise, and attention to detail, ensuring every project is both visually compelling and precisely executed.

THE IDEATION ROOM

Crafted using recycled shipping bubble wrap as the primary material, this wall sconce evokes the soft glow of sunrise over the beach in the designer’s hometown of Phan Rang. The piece captures a sense of warmth and nostalgia, transforming everyday waste into a poetic reflection of memory and place.

THE FREDERICK ON MISSOURI

The Frederick in Phoenix, AZ was built in 1963 by the firm Weaver & Drover. Frederick P. Weaver was a prominant Phoenix architect in the heyday of the mid-century era. The Frederick has primarily been used as a a residential complex since it opened, accommodating various businesses and offices over the years. The building is known for its clean lines, open spaces, and large windows.

The Colibri is an innovative urban hub designed to reconnect nature with the community. Its purpose is to foster observation and contemplation, encouraging a deeper awareness of our environment and inspiring collective efforts to preserve fragile ecosystems in the face of ongoing change. The hummingbird often symbolizes joy, resilience, and the deep connection between people and nature—values that resonate with the building’s architectural narrative of coexistence, regeneration, and collective well-being. In various cultures, hummingbirds are also seen as messengers or harbingers, suggesting that the building becomes a vessel for receiving and transmitting the Earth’s messages.
